Justin Runquist is an award-winning freelance photojournalist in the Chicago area. Prior to embarking on his freelance career, he worked as a staff photographer for the Northwest Herald for four years. An Oregon native, he became interested in photography while taking travel photos throughout the Pacific Northwest while attending Oregon State University. Documentary photography has been his focus for the last four years. Currently he is excited to bring his documentary photography to weddings. Combining photojournalism and wedding photography allows him to make real photographs of real people with with an uplifting feeling of joy and excitement.
